The flurry of in-house Patriots contract extensions appears set to continue, with New England reportedly tying up another member of the defense on a new deal.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Patriots and defensive tackle Davon Godchaux have reached an agreement on a two-year extension that could be worth up to $21 million. The deal also reportedly includes $16.5 million in guaranteed money.
Godchaux, 29, has been with the Patriots since signing in New England as a free agent in 2021. Since that time, he’s been a fixture in the lineup, starting all but one game in his three seasons with the team.
