A member of the 2023 Minnesota Vikings draft class has found a spot in Foxborough.
The New England Patriots signed defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy to the practice squad following a workout, as first reported Tuesday by NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo.
Roy, 23, entered the NFL in the fifth round at pick No. 141 overall last spring. The LSU product appeared in 12 games, starting one, during his rookie season in the NFC North. He had a hand in eight tackles, including one for loss, and was credited by Pro Football Focus for a pair of quarterback hits.
