PATRIOTS 34, TEXANS 16
If the quarterbacks switched teams Saturday night and all else remained the same, the Texans would be traveling to Pittsburgh this weekend. Not because Tom Brady played well in the Patriots’ divisional round win against Houston but because Brock Osweiler was monumentally dreadful for someone being paid $72 million. Or even for someone being paid minimum wage.
Not only did Osweiler throw three second-half interceptions and convert on only 3-of-16 third downs, he was badly off target on 12 of his 40 throws, five of which missed wide-open receivers and two of which were picked off.
