PATRIOTS 35, TITANS 14
This game didn’t take long to become the mismatch it was projected to be. It was an advertisement for why there’s no need for an additional round of playoffs, and no need for as many playoff teams as presently exist.
After two weekends of playoff games, the championship round boils down to the No. 1 Patriots against the No. 3 Jaguars in the AFC, and the top two seeds (Eagles, Vikings) in the NFC.
This was the least competitive of the four divisional matchups, as the Pats’ quick passing game shredded Tennessee’s secondary while their defense stuffed the Titans run game then ran down quarterback Marcus Mariota in predictable passing situations.
