Roughly two weeks ago, the New England Patriots signed long snapper Tucker Addington to their practice squad with Joe Cardona dealing with a personal issue.
Cardona sat out of the team's Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans, allowing Addington to fill in again, just as he did previously for Cardona back in 2022.
The 27-year-old played nine special teams snaps in the game and appeared to do the job admirably.
However, now that the long snapper is back to practice and playing in games, New England has decided to release Addington, opening up a spot on the practice squad.
