In the aftermath of Wednesday evening’s mid-air collision between a civilian airliner and an army helicopter in Washington D.C, the New England Patriots have released a statement on the incident.
Our hearts break for the lives lost in the tragic incident at Reagan National Airport. We send our deepest condolences to all those impacted by the tragedy, especially to the Skating Club of Boston and those in our local New England community who are mourning their coaches, athletes and loved ones. We are grateful to the first responders who continue to work tirelessly during these incredibly difficult circumstances and our thoughts are with all those affected at this time.
