The Mike Vrabel Era was going to bring changes to the New England Patriots. The roster shuffle continued on Friday as three-time team captain Ja'Whaun Brantley was released.
Brantley posted a message on social media expressing his appreciation for New England.
Bentley came to the Patriots from Purdue in 2018. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound linebacker missed most of last season after tearing a pectoral muscle. In his three previous seasons, he was in on 338 overall tackles.
When the Patriots signed former Las Vegas Raiders LB this offseason to a three-year contract it contributed to the belief Bentley could be on his way out of New England.
