On April 22, the New England Patriots have made two minor transactions when the team signed two free agents: long snapper Christian Yount and linebacker Tony Steward. While the former is still on the roster and could even become a critical member of the team due to Joe Cardona's unclear status regarding his Navy commitment, the latter no longer is.
According to the NFL's transaction wire (and via Mark Daniels), the Patriots have waived Steward today:
