Field Yates of ESPN reports that Patriots exclusive rights free agent CB Justin Coleman officially signed his tender on Thursday.
Coleman, 24, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted out of Tennessee back in May of last year. However, he was unfortunately placed on waivers at end of the preseason.
Coleman bounced around between the Patriots and Seahawks at the start of the 2015 season but later returned to New England has spent the past two years with them.
In 2016, Coleman appeared in 10 games for the Patriots and recorded eight tackles, no interceptions and three pass defenses.
