On Sunday, the New England Patriots won their eighth game of the season by defeating the New York Jets 27-13 on the road. The Patriots had a solid bounce-back performance two weeks after getting blown out by the Tennessee Titans — and that includes quarterback Tom Brady: the 41-year old completed 20 of 31 pass attempts during the contest for 283 yards as well as a pair of touchdowns.
While the numbers are not overly spectacular, Brady still added a new milestone to his already spectacular résumé: with a four-yard pass in the second quarter to rookie running back Sony Michel, the future Hall of Famer passed long-time rival Peyton Manning to become the league’s all-time leader in career regular season and postseason passing yards.
