Patriots QB Tom Brady: 'I believe quality over quantity'

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady shared thoughts on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and concussions in football during an appearance in New York on Monday, telling ABC News "it's a very important topic."

Brady, who turns 39 on Aug. 3, told ABC News that he's been fortunate when it comes to concussions.

His strict diet and training regimen has been well documented, which Brady implements with the hope of prolonging his career.

"You'd hate to stop doing something you love to do cause of an injury," he told ABC News. "I’m someone that’s a proponent, yeah, keep doing what you love to do, but treat your body the right way and then you’ll be able to continue doing it.
