The New England Patriots have officially listed veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett as questionable to return to Sunday's preseason game with a right shoulder injury.
The injury happened during a scary hit by Washington Commanders defensive end KJ Henry. There was an obvious miscommunication along the offensive front for the Patriots, which resulted in Henry running free and blasting Brissett for a sack.
There was a belief that Brissett would likely be the Week 1 starter for the Patriots in the regular season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. That might still be the case depending on the extent of the injury.
