Patriots projected to make monster contract offer to free agent WR

The New England Patriots offense has been far from the most dynamic in the league throughout the 2024 season, as they've scored just 17 points per game (31st) and gained just 291.1 yards per game (31st).

A big part of New England's problem has been their lack of weapons surrounding rookie quarterback Drake Maye.

The first-round pick has two solid tight ends to target in Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper, but their wide receiver room, which currently consists of DeMario Douglas, Kendrick Bourne, Kayshon Boutte, Ja'Lynn Polk and Javon Baker is missing that top guy who keeps opposing coordinators up at night.
