For the second season in a row, the New England Patriots finished the year with a 4-13 record, missed the playoffs and fired their head coach.

Since their last game, a Week 18 matchup against the AFC East champion Buffalo Bills at Gillette Stadium, New England has already found their new head coach, as they've hired former linebacker Mike Vrabel to lead the team into the 2025 season and beyond.

However, before the team takes the field for the first time under Vrabel, now is a great time to reflect on the year that was, no matter how painful.
