FOXBORO — Brady’s back? Eh, whatever.
That was essentially the mood in the Patriots locker room after last night’s final preseason game against the New York Giants.
In what can only be seen as calculated indifference to the biggest news of the day, one player after another either outright declined comment or shrugged at the news that Tom Brady’s four-game suspension was overturned by federal judge Richard Berman.
“Tommy didn’t even play tonight,” offensive lineman Ryan Wendell said. “You got any questions about (quarterback Ryan) Lindley?”
Eventually, we will get there, was the collective response to Wendell’s query.
