Chances are you vividly remember the first Super Bowl you watched intently.
Whether it’s Bart Starr leading the Green Bay Packers past the Kansas City Chiefs in 1967 or Malcolm Butler intercepting Russell Wilson in 2015, there’s likely one game that still sticks out as the moment you fell in love with football.
It’s no different for the Patriots, who shared some of their first Super Bowl memories in a Twitter video on Friday.
Safety Duron Harmon, 28, recalled watching the Denver Broncos-Atlanta Falcons matchup in 1999, a week after his eighth birthday.
“I just remember telling my mom, ‘Eventually one day, I want to play in one of those games,'” said Harmon, who will be competing in his fourth Super Bowl on Sunday and has earned the moniker “The Closer” for his clutch play.
