INDIANAPOLIS -- The Patriots' issues at cornerback have continued.
Tarell Brown was placed on injured reserve today. The 30-year-old hasn't been able to shake a foot injury that worsened over the past week, as he was limping around the locker room earlier in the week and missed the last two practices before being ruled out for tomorrow's game against the Colts. Now, the Patriots and Brown have realized the injury will end his season.
Brown had offseason foot surgery, which required him to delay his signing until July. He also needed extra maintenance in August, and it bothered him again in Week 3, when he dressed for the game against the Jaguars but was the only player who didn't take the field.
