Patriots Place CB Marcus Jones on Injured Reserve; Make A Series of Additional Roster Moves

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today CB Marcus Jones has been placed on injured reserve and that T Caedan Wallace has been activated to the 53-man roster. Wallace played in the first four games with one start at left tackle at the New York Jets on Sept. 19, before being placed on injured reserve on Oct. 4.

In addition, the Patriots announced that WR Alex Erickson and LB Monty Rice have been elevated to the active roster from the practice squad for the second straight week.

Erickson, 32, a veteran of eight NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals (2016-20), Carolina Panthers (2021), Washington Commanders (2022) and the Los Angeles Chargers (2023), was signed to the New England practice squad on Dec.
