The New England Patriots placed CB Jonathan Jones on injured reserve Wednesday and signed WR Bernard Reedy to their active roster, according to Mike Reiss.
Jones, 24, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his three-year, $1.62 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $630,000 for the 2018 season.
In 2017, Jones appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots and recorded 44 tackles, one sack, an interception and eight pass defenses.
