Patriots pass catcher sells Super Bowl ring from 28-3 comeback for $88K

New England’s famed 28-3 comeback against the Atlanta Falcons is still paying off for one member of the 2016 Patriots.

Martellus Bennett sold his Super Bowl LI ring for $88,125 over the weekend, according to Hunt Auctions. The tight end was a significant contributor in that victory, catching five passes for 62 yards and playing 87% of the offensive snaps.

Bennett spent the 2016 season with New England and returned for a brief cameo in 2017 after being waived by the Packers. In 18 games with the Patriots, he had 61 receptions for 754 yards and seven touchdowns.
