Bill Belichick's illustrious New England Patriots tenure has come to an end.
Our Tom E. Curran reported Tuesday that the Patriots' decision to part ways with Belichick, initially made following the team's Week 10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, remained on track. On Thursday morning, the Patriots announced that Belichick and team owner Robert Kraft will address the media in a press conference at 12 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium to confirm Belichick's exit.
The decision comes despite Belichick being under contract with the team through the 2024 campaign and ends his illustrious 24-year tenure in New England.
