New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft doesn’t appear to consider Cam Newton as the team’s long-term answer at quarterback. But, apparently, he’s not ruling out Jarrett Stidham.
Kraft addressed the Patriots’ quarterback situation, which has former Auburn signal-callers on the top two lines of the depth chart, during a video press conference this week. Kraft said while he thought Newton didn’t have a fair chance in his first season as New England’s quarterback and that he’s “a big fan” of Stidham, he wants the team to return to sustained top-notch play at quarterback however that needs to be achieved.
