Time will tell whether or not he will be part of the New England Patriots’ staff in 2025, but Omar Young will nonetheless represent the team at the Senior Bowl. As was announced on Saturday, Young will serve as the running backs coach down in Mobile, AL, this coming week.
Young, 41, joined the Patriots last offseason as a coaching assistant under head coach Jerod Mayo and offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
Before arriving in New England, he coached at both the college and NFL level — including the previous two seasons with the Chicago Bears, for whom he initially worked as a quality control coach as well as assistant quarterbacks and wide receivers coach.
