FOXBORO — Defensive lineman Dominique Easley didn’t need to be dominant to play a role in the Patriots’ blowout victory against the Jaguars on Sunday.
His 32 snaps led the team’s defensive tackles, which is important considering the Pats didn’t tiptoe around his usage after missing a game with a hip pointer.
“It felt good,” Easley said of his return. “Getting the win was the most important thing.”
Easley made his two tackles count, as he had one run stuff and then dropped running back Bernard Pierce for a 3-yard loss on a screen pass just before halftime.
