FOXBORO — The Patriots injury list might need an extra page.
Wide receiver Aaron Dobson suffered a high ankle sprain Monday against the Bills, and he won’t play Sunday against the Broncos, according to a source. Beyond that, it’s unclear how much more time he’ll miss with an injury that historically proves difficult to overcome.
Dobson, who was held out of yesterday’s walkthrough, was injured while making a nice 17-yard catch in the second quarter, and he’ll miss the Denver game along with fellow wideout Julian Edelman (broken foot). Danny Amendola has a sprained left knee, but could play Sunday, and Keshawn Martin has missed five consecutive games with a hamstring injury.
