FOXBORO — The Patriots have continued to make Rob Gronkowski’s knee a priority in their preparation for tomorrow’s divisional round meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs.
But now, they have to deal with his back, too.
Gronkowski missed practice for the second time this week due to a knee injury, which required a pain injection yesterday, according to a source. Then, to lengthen the list of concerns, the Patriots sent out a revised injury report last night, nearly five hours after the conclusion of practice, with Gronkowski’s back listed.
It’s unclear when or how the back injury occurred, but Gronkowski has a history of back issues.
