The New England Patriots did what was expected to happen in Round 1 of the NFL Draft on Thursday night. They addressed the biggest need on their roster by picking Will Campbell, the highly-regarded offensive tackle out of LSU, at the fourth overall spot.
The first offensive lineman to get picked as well as the highest-ranked on consensus big board, Campbell ending up in New England did not come as a surprise. That does not mean that everyone is in universal agreement about the pick.
