It didn't take long for New England Patriots quarterbacks coach Ashton Grant to become a fan of Drake Maye.
Grant was hired as part of the Patriots' revamped coaching staff under Mike Vrabel. He will be working directly with Maye and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to help get the offensive unit back on track. At the very least, he seems increasingly confident about what the team has under center at quarterback.
“When this opportunity presented itself, it’s something I jumped on as quickly as possible,” Grant said at the Patriots' draft party, via Mass Live's Karen Guregian.
