FOXBOROUGH – The juxtaposition was too hard to ignore.
Maybe it was when Puka Nacua made an incredible diving touchdown catch in the second quarter. Perhaps, it was when Cooper Kupp took one pass and ran 69 yards to the end zone in the third quarter. That touchdown reception gave Kupp more receiver yards than any player on the Patriots in Sunday’s loss – other than Kendrick Bourne, who led the team with 70 yards.
As the game went on, it was obvious. Matthew Stafford’s life is made easier because he’s throwing to two dynamite receivers.
