Patriots name 6 practice players of the week following 35-14 divisional round win over the Titans

The postseason is different from the regular season in many way. One thing, however, does never change and that is the New England Patriots handing out practice player of the week awards after a victory. The recipients are players, who helped the team most during preparations for the upcoming opponent, according to the coaching staff.

Judged by the list above, New England placed an emphasis on three aspects of the Titans' game: The size and physicality of skill position players on both sides of the football, the battle in the trenches, and the mobility of quarterback Marcus Mariota – embodied in practice by backup quarterback Brian Hoyer.
