Mohamed Sanu is taking one-on-one coaching to another level.
According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the New England Patriots veteran receiver has hired a full-time coach who will live with him as he focuses on his offseason training. Reiss reports that Sanu linked up through the coach, Drew Lieberman, through his Rutgers connections. Sanu played at Rutgers while Lieberman coached at the school earlier in his career.
Sanu is hoping that the fire will help create “a situation where his relentless offseason work produces tangible on-field results in 2020,” Reiss wrote.
Lieberman spent nine seasons as a Division I wide receivers coach before turning to private coaching.
