The New England Patriots made eight free agent signings official on Thursday, including the additions of quarterback Bryan Hoyer and wideout Marqise Lee.
Hoyer agreed to a one-year deal back in March, while Lee agreed to a one-year deal last week, days after he was released by Jacksonville.
Also signing on Thursday were defensive tackle Beau Allen, wide receiver Damiere Byrd, linebacker Brandon Copeland, safeties Cody Davis and Adrian Phillips and fullback Dan Vitale.
Hoyer, 34, is in his third stint with the Patriots, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He is currently slated to compete for the starting job with 2019 fourth-round pick Jarrett Stidham, as the team looks to replace Tom Brady.
