FOXBORO — A day before the Carolina Panthers came to town, Patriots tackle Trent Brown gave his honest assessment of what joint practices would mean to the offense.
“(Tuesday) will be our first big test,” Brown said. “With Game 1 three weeks away, (Tuesday) will be a nice gauge to see where we are and see what we need to do before Week 1.”
In an offseason full of peaks and valleys, the Patriots offense entered this week having more bad practices against their own defense than good. Frustration was evident for quarterback Mac Jones and several Patriots offensive players.
