The New England Patriots fell to the Arizona Cardinals 30-17 on Sunday at State Farm Stadium, but at one point in the game, they had an opportunity to really shift the momentum.
In the third quarter, with New England down 16-3, the Cardinals had the ball at their own 8-yard line for a third-and-6 play. Kyler Murray scrambled, got near the line and took a hit from Patriots linebacker Anfernee Jennings just after he got rid of the ball.
Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones intercepted the pass, but the referees flagged Jennings for roughing the passer, and the play was nullified.
