Patriots leading tackler Kyle Dugger remains on COVID-19 list, out for Monday night game in Buffalo

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. —

The New England Patriots will be without their leading tackler when they face the Buffalo Bills in a crucial game between AFC East rivals Monday night.

Patriots defensive back Kyle Dugger, who has a team-high 80 total tackles, was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday and remains on that list.

Dugger has started 10 of New England’s first 12 games this season and has also made three interceptions, four pass deflections and one fumble recovery.

The 25-year-old is in his second NFL season. He was selected by the Patriots with the 37th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 draft out of Lenoir-Rhyne University, a Division II football program in Hickory, North Carolina.
