Late in the New England Patriots' 40-7 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers last Saturday at Gillette Stadium, Patriots fans booed their team and asked their ownership to fire Jerod Mayo through a chorus of chants.
Since then, a number of Patriots have responded to criticism from the fans, including Davon Godchaux and Deatrich Wise Jr., who both stood up for their coach.
On Friday, Patriots linebacker Jahlani Tavai joined "The Greg Hill Show" on WEEI and was asked about the boos and chants, and he took that opportunity to attack the fan base once again.
