Patriots’ Joshuah Bledsoe having ‘awesome’ preseason, showing willingness to learn: ‘He soaks it in’

FOXBOROUGH — New England Patriots safety Joshuah Bledsoe has strung together good performances through the team’s first few weeks of training camp.

And his teammates are taking notice.

“He has been doing awesome,” Adrian Phillips said. “He has been growing. ... He came here during OTAs, went crazy, now he is moving around in camp and ballin’.”

Bledsoe was selected by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. After signing a four-year rookie contract, he was placed on the active/non-football injury list at the start of training camp. He continued to sit out after starting the season on the reserve list, but was activated in December.
