Patriots’ Jakobi Meyers made most of his opportunity on a rough day for New England

FOXBOROUGH - Bright spots on the New England Patriots offense weren’t easy to find in a lopsided loss where they didn’t score a touchdown.

But Jakobi Meyers, who’d all but disappeared from the Patriots offense before this week caught four passes for career-high 60 yards.

Myers had only been active twice this season, in New England’s Week 2 loss to Seattle and Week 3 win over the Raiders. He caught the only ball thrown his way for seven yards against the Seahawks. He’d fallen behind Isaiah Zuber, who has spent the season on the practice squad-active roster elevator, on the depth chart.
