The Patriots have invited former Cincinnati Bengals safety Taylor Mays to minicamp.
Mays first came into the league in 2010 with the 49ers, where he posted a solid grade of 72.0 over 439 defensive snaps. Mays last played in 2015, when he recorded a 65.3 overall grade across 322 defensive snaps.
The 439 defensive snaps Mays saw in his rookie season were the most he has seen so far for any single season of his career; outside of that 2010 season, there was just one year (2015) where Mays tallied at least 300 defensive snaps.
