The New England Patriots are expressing pre-draft interest in one of the faster wide receivers coming out this year. KeAndre Lambert-Smith, who clocked the sixth-fastest 40 time at this year’s Scouting Combine, was in town on Wednesday for a 30 visit.
Justin Melo of The Draft Network was first to report the meeting. Lambert-Smith also visited the Buffalo Bills earlier in the week and has trips to Arizona and Baltimore on his itinerary.
Measuring just over 6-foot-0 and 190 pounds, Lambert-Smith ran a 4.37-second 40-yard dash in Indianapolis. His time is ranked in the 89 percentile for all wide receiver prospects in the Mockdraftable database ranging back to 1999.
