Earlier this week the New England Patriots visited with free agent linebacker Andrew Gachkar. Gachkar has been a rotational linebacker throughout his career and he carved out a large special-teams role for himself as a member of the Dallas Cowboys in 2016.
The former seventh-round pick saw his most action in 2014, when he played for the (then) San Diego Chargers. He finished that season ranked 49th out of 93 qualifying linebackers with a 69.4 overall grade over 395 snaps. The most defensive snaps Gachkar has seen outside of that season were 171 in 2013.
