The New England Patriots’ wide receiver depth was bolstered on Wednesday, when the team saw three players — Julian Edelman, Devin Ross and Jeff Thomas — return to practice after having missed at least the previous session one day earlier. The team is nonetheless looking at outside options to possibly add even more bodies to the position: the Patriots had free agent wide receivers Andre Baccellia, Greg Dortch, Tony Gaiter and Matthew Sexton in town earlier today on tryouts.
