The New England Patriots held a private workout with Memphis kicker Tristian Vandenberg.
The kicker position has been an area of need that has flown under the radar for the Patriots. John Parker Romo is currently the only kicker on the roster after veteran Joey Slye signed with the Tennessee Titans in the offseason.
Vandenberg made all 25 of his extra points last season and made 9-of-13 field goal attempts. He began his collegiate football career with Ohio in 2019 and was part of two Bobcats teams that made it to bowl games.
