At times during Thursday’s training camp opener in the fields behind Gillette Stadium, the interior of the Patriots’ offensive line consisted of rookie guards Tre’ Jackson and Shaq Mason flanking second-year center Bryan Stork.
With last year’s starting left guard Dan Connolly retiring over the offseason and right guard Ryan Wendell recovering from shoulder surgery, Mason took a good number of snaps at first team left guard and Jackson at right guard.
