The New England Patriots are losing another one of their defensive linemen.
The New Orleans Saints are signing free agent defensive tackle Malcom Brown to “a 3-year deal worth $15 million”, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
Brown was the Patriots first round pick in 2015 and became a four-year starter on the Patriots’ defensive line. Brown developed as a stout run defender in each of his first three seasons in the NFL, but appeared to take a step backwards in 2018. Still, he anchored a great Patriots defensive front and was well worth the first round pick.
