By now, surely you’ve heard: Tom Brady will play in his tenth Super Bowl this Sunday. You’ve probably also heard that it will be his first not in a New England Patriots uniform. Before the start of the 2020-21 NFL season, after spending 20 years with the Pats, and winning them six Super Bowls, Tom Brady left Boston to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This move has been good for Tom Brady. Clearly. In his first season away, he’s back in the Super Bowl. It has been less good for Patriots fans, who, after two decades of dominance, had gotten rather attached to Brady, and the inevitable victories that trail in his handsome, winning wake.
