While quarterback, offensive tackle and wide receiver are bigger needs for the New England Patriots heading into the 2024 NFL Draft, they also have potential to upgrade their tight end group. At the moment, Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper and La’Michael Pettway make up the entirety of the position depth chart.
The Patriots could look for some developmental options in the draft, but they are also exploring the veteran market. In fact, they recently had three veterans in town for tryouts: as first reported by Howard Balzer of Cards Wire, Brycen Hopkins, Sean McKeon and Mitchell Wilcox worked out for the team.
