The New England Patriots entered this offseason with more money to spend than any other team in the NFL, but they haven't gone on a spending spree.
In fact, the Patriots signed 12 veterans in free agency, and Jacoby Brissett was far and away the most lucrative at $8 million in 2024.
Now, at the end of May, New England still has $52.25 million in cap space, the most in the league by nearly $9 million. However, new executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf wants to push back on the narrative that the team didn't spend this offseason.
