With the NFL roster cutdown deadline in the rear-view mirror and an initial 53-man roster established, the New England Patriots returned to work on Wednesday. The first of two practices was on the menu, and it saw almost every player make an appearance in some capacity.
The only exceptions were guard Sidy Sow as well as offensive lineman Michael Jordan and defensive tackle Trysten Hill. While the latter two were released on Wednesday to help make room for New England’s four waiver wire claims, Sow missed the session after sustaining an ankle injury during the preseason finale in Washington on Sunday.
