The Patriots have elevated Marcus Cannon from the practice squad giving the three-time Super Bowl winner another stint in New England.
He’ll step in this weekend for Yodny Cajuste, who was placed on injured reserve. Cajuste, who is battling a thumb injury, will miss at least four weeks before being eligible to return. The fact that Mac Jones was not placed on IR means that the Patriots believe he’s likely to miss less than four weeks with his ankle injury.
The Patriots are at Green Bay on Sunday.
